Exclusive, Three-day,
Workshop-intensive Writing Conferences Focusing on
Fiction and Creative Non-Fiction 

Held in beautiful, historic Cedar Key, Florida at Natures Landing.

Each workshop is limited to between five and seven participants.
Manuscript-based workshop sessions, readings, discussions, and more.

Conference Features:

Manuscript/critique-based workshops limited to seven writers per group.  Fiction and creative non-fiction writers will work together in a nurturing, vigorous environment.

Group discussions addressing revision, editing, publishing, methods for building a sustainable writer's life, and more.

Evening reading studio sessions in which students give readings from their works-in-progress

Book-in-common discussion.

Schedule structured so that participants and faculty build a community of writers that endures long after leaving Cedar Key. 

Downtime appropriately scheduled so that participants enjoy all that Cedar Key has to offer.

The Cedar Key Project is a family friendly writers conference.  Cedar Key
offers an abundance of activities that writers, spouses, partners, and children can enjoy.  All workshop and discussion sessions are open to participants only.
Admission:

Admission to The Cedar Key Project is based on the quality of each writer’s manuscript submitted in his/her application.
